Are you an avid traveler like me? Take your Laptop every step? I know I do Well I ran into the problem Not everywhere has a Wifi "hotspot" Internal Computer wireless Wifi range is about 100-300ft Depending how old your system is. I have a newer system so mine is toward to upper end of 300 Well The First week of Having this I noticed It made My Wireless internet outside of my house at my kids play area which is normally 10-20 percent It made it about 60-70 percent enough for it to stay online without dropping the internet or feel like I was on Dial up Again LOL. I can also pick up neighbors wifi I didn't know they had :) So when I dont pay my bill LOL No just kidding on that one. But I was able to see there networks but they were Secure. I live in a Very Rural area of NC So I thought this would be of no use, We Then Packed up for a day at the Park While the girls Were swinging and Sliding I managed to find someones unsecured network OOPS!! I Unpluged The Wi-fire And The network was Not found. Then I went On Vacation And was able to pick up Dairy Queens Free WiFi :) It Made Life Easy. Thanks Wi-Fire!

The Wi-Fire
The Wi-Fire is a compact, range-extending USB device that enables you to access a wireless Internet connection from up to 1,000 feet away–three times the range of your internal wireless adapter.
The Wi-Fire uses a powerful directional antenna, highly sensitive receiver and proprietary software to find and enhance normal WiFi signals. With it, you can connect wireless to the Internet–even at low signal strengths–faster, more reliably and with a more consistently strong connection–than you are able to with an internal wireless adapter.
The Wi-Fire draws very little power from your laptop battery. It comes complete with everything you need to connect wirelessly to the Internet. Just install the Wi-Fire Connection Manager, plug the Wi-Fire into an available USB port and you’re ready to start. It can rest on any flat surface, laptop display or flat screen monitor.
See More Connections
The Wi-Fire Connection Manager reveals all available networks in the area–more than you’ve ever seen without the Wi-Fire. Simply rotate the Wi-Fire to maximize the signal strength for one of your desired networks, select the strongest available network - public access or private and encrypted - and then click connect. You’re now connected in places you never were before! Enjoy your new freedom and convenience.
Experience Faster Speeds
The Wi-Fire will provide higher speeds at low signal strengths than your typical internal adapter and competing “high performance” products. It has even beat Draft802.11n products in range and speed at long distances.
Surf Full Speed, Full Size
The Wi-Fire allows you to surf the web, tap remote applications, download large files, stream audio and video–without squinting at a tiny screen and thumb typing on a credit card-size keyboard. And just try performing essential online tasks on a painfully slow cell phone connection. You could wander around, searching for the closest and strongest access point. You could suffer through a spotty, slow connection that drops at the most inopportune time.
Plug in your Wi-Fire, see multiple hotspots you never even knew existed, and get online!

I like this feature: I would be able to access WIFI up to 1000 feet, which would be fabulous anywhere! That's three times the range of my internal wireless adaptor. How useful in just about every venue I can think of.

Just went on a trip, could have useed the Wi-Fire even in the motel we stayed at. Lighter and smaller is a plus for a laptop.
I have trouble staying connected sometimes (rural area and other issues). This would boost me enough that I wouldn't lose connection in the middle of something big!
Reach those out-of-the-way corners where you like to sit
im up in the back room of the house and im using a buffalo wireless thingy and i only get 54mbps and man is it slow! if this would get me better #s bring it on then!

If I don't win I will be buying one! I'm in an area where my only choices are dial-up (no way) or an air card, which is what I use for both my desktop and netbook. I don't always get a good signal, but I know of several wi-fi areas that I can access about a 1/2 mile from my home. It would be great to access them from my home and I think I could do so with this nifty little device. Thanks for the plug!!
I travel with my hubby in our motorhome during the winters and would love to be able to access free wi-fi on my laptop while going from place to place. I love this feature: The Wi-FireTM allows users to connect to a WiFi network from up to 1,000 feet-more than three times
the range of other 802.11 adapters-often at significantly higher speeds, and even in locations where no wireless signal could be detected previously.
Very cool. :)

This would be perfect for when we travel. It is small and increases the wifi range. My husband has been talking about getting one of these!

I like that I can Get wi-fi upto feet away, because i travel alot, and i do my business over the computer. This would be very useful to my business. Liltink129109@aol.com
I like that it is only 2.8 ounces, is palm-sized, easy-to-use and has a long range. That would be both convenient and very useful.
This is an answer to my dream. I travel throughout the northeast and I could really use this device, big time!

My kids have a low signal upstairs and complain about it. I love that this product might make it faster for them and cease the complaints.

love the 1000 foot boost I could be anywhere in the yard and even across the street
The range is amazing. The idea of being in my backyard with my laptop is just crazy to me.

I love the fact that I would go from minimal wifi distance to up to 1000 feet...with the fact that I have an older laptop anything that I can get to boost my wireless strength is a definite plus!

The Wi-Fire is compact and quite portable. I would love to try it out on my next vacation. The wifi at my most recent hotel was not very strong at all.
I love the fact that is light weight and easy to use. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to wifi.

Hi! I'm visiting from MBC. Great blog.
I would actually love this for my neighbor kid, he mows my grass in exchange for use of my wireless but the signal isn't that great. He would love this :-) I love that there isn't a bunch of technical crap to it LOL.

I like that it multiplies the effectiveness of wireless networks and eliminates those nasty deadspots that plague users. The Wi-FireTM allows users to connect to a WiFi network from up to 1,000 feet-more than three times. How cool is that?
up to 1,00 foot range. WOW!
love that it's palm-sized, easy-to-use and has such a long range
I would love to win this to give to my cousin. He is 52 and finally got his own apartment. He is disabled. Unfortunately he can't afford the internet now that he has to pay rent, etc. I just sent him a plug in device to be able to detect nearby wireless signals. He hasn't received it yet. I don't know if it will do, it is just one of the small ones that looks like a lighter. It was my old one. He would be thrilled to get something that would let him use the internet.

Being able to go to the back of our property, to the garage where I've actually needed my laptop at time would be fantastic!
I could probably even use it inside the house at times as poor as my signal can be.
Thank you! :)

im still learning about wireless, i had a neighbor that used netgear and i could get on that and it was super fast, they moved so now i switch between dial up or when i can get it wireless called belkin, id love to have this so i could get more connections and better wireless, thanks

This is my favorite thing about the Wi-Fire because it seems easy to use!

I found out that the newest Wi Fire is 40% more powerful and 30% lighter than their previous model.
I only have a desktop now, but plan on getting a laptop very soon, so the WiFire will surely be something I will need because I have a huge mountain behind my house which would block the signal!
I like that it is only 2.8 ounces. That's tiny!
I like the fact that all the top Gadget blogs gave it a great review. Also with a real user review from you makes the H Field Wi-Fire Wifi Booster a product I could use to help with poor Wifi signals I am getting now.

My favorite feature is that it can extend up to 1000 ft for wifi connections while using very little battery power
I love the fact that it dramatically extends your range and there's no need for more cables or installations. We have been having the hardest time with our internet connection I am so lucky to be on the Net right now to write this. LOL!!
This would be a life saver because we use our computer for work, school and entertainment. Thank you so much for the great contest :)
This thing looks great!
I like that it is 3 times the range of my internal adapter!! We have a lot of trouble getting internet in the dining room, which is where my husband likes to work (because he's totally filled up our college son's room with HIS junk, so now he needs to start making piles in a new room!!).

I like that it will strengthen the signal, allowing for faster speeds.
I tell you what! I've been in some pricey hotels that charge $20 a day for internet service. I could've used Wi-Fire and saved some money! That's one of my favorite things to do, you know.

I learned that FireTM is a compact high-performance long-range USB WiFi Adapter. The new Wi-FireTM, the HFWFG200, is 40% smaller, and 30% lighter, but still manages to deliver an extra punch over its predecessor. Maybe I could get internet on my laptop upstairs in my house.
