Blog Giveaway How-To
Ok So you found you some blog giveaways to do? If you haven't previously found some I suggest Online-Sweepstakes, Or Prizey.
Start By Making a Blogger username If you want you can create a blog just to blog about other giveaways for extra entries. You can Get Lots of Extra Entries by blogging about a giveaway.
So once you got the Blogger username this will only help on Blogger blogs The word press blogs have a form that looks like this
Maybe Not Exactly but Close.
Next once you find something you want to enter for you look in the blog post for the “MANDATORY ENTRY” Sometimes its simple and only one thing other times it a few things to do just for the mandatory entry
That what they look like sometime it may be a bit difficult to find.
Then you Post the comment for the mandatory And sometimes the blogger will ask you to visit the sponsors website and choose a product you like or somthing of the sort, I usually right click and open that in a new tab so I dont loose the blog I am on.I fyou get that done you can move on to Extra Entries if that what you want to do they are not required but a way to have more comments so you have better chances at winning I have won From 1 comment only and I have also won from an Extra Entry Comment. I have Also put in 15+ comments into a giveaway and not won anything.
Next thing is in your comment make sure your email is in the comment not all blog authors can see your email address in the form you put your entry in. You can put it as freebiegoddess03@aol.com or to reduce spam freebiegoddess03 (at) aol (dot) com It is entirely up to you.
If you do extra Entries
Make sure you pay attention how many Entries each one is If it says 2 Entries Leave two comments with the same info but add at the bottom Entry 1 or Entry 2,3,4,5 Depending on how many you get for that particular one.
Next Check your email Daily I say Check more like a Couple times daily Some blog Owners only give a small window of time ex 24 hrs or more popular 48 hrs to respond back to claim your win.
Most Bloggers use a program called random.org That is a Number randomizer that works great I love it. So I hear you asking now What if my number was picked and the blog owner didn't want me to win. Well Obviously yes that can happen but blog giveaways are suppose to be on a honor system, I have had People I know from the Blogosphere win and others I have never seen around win my giveaways so just put trust into the blogger.
Ok so you win the prize and you have waited and waited for the UPS, Fed Ex or Mailman To bring it. Please do Contact the blogger and let them know your prize has not be received make sure you wait 6 weeks before contacting the blogger. If the Blogger does not Respond back Contact the sponsor Which is the person giving the prize to the blogger to giveaway.
